Cyber Crimes in Pakistan.

Before going into the details, let us first see that what are the cyber crimes?

What is a cyber crime?

Well the cyber crimes, also called computer crimes are the form of criminal act in which one computer and the network is being involved. In this process computer may be used for the commission of crime or may be as the victim.

This sort of crimes cause many problems as it is really very dangerous to one’s privacy, as your confidential data also being lost or shared by the other people. Recently this crime has also become much common in the world mobile phones, where a main cell phone is used to attack the others (through the computerized technology), to hack the private and the confidential data of the victims, and this trend has become much common in Pakistan also.

Dos and don’ts for this crime:

There are certain precautions which the Pakistani mobile users should take into account in order to become the victim of this crime. Let us see them one by one.

Dos:

•Always use your security pin code to make your cell phone protected from the usage of any other person.

•Remember your EMI number always, or not it down any where else.

•After every time usage, make your keypad locked.

•Upload the anti virus in your mobile.

•Always check the receiver name when you get the SMS or MMS, and open it only when you know the receiver.

Don’ts:

So there are certain aspects which you should take into account to protect your personal data.

•Always check the SMS and MMS before opening it.

•Don’t calls on the cell numbers which you see on the internet while chatting or doing some other sort of activity.

•Also don’t give your cell number on the internet to anyone.

•Don’t keep your Bluetooth device open to all, as you may receive the fake type of texts or the images as well.

Precautions:

Well almost all of the countries are trying their level best to minimize the rate of this crime and so the government of Pakistan, let us hope for the betterment.
